We’re doing a road trip across Oregon after school gets out next week. I’m going to institute a “no skips” album rule for music. TP-Wildflowers, U2 Achtung Baby, and FM Rumours will be in the mix.

I remember where I was when I first heard “Last Dance with Mary Jane” (sitting in the family Chevy Lumina in the Safeway parking lot.) I’d been aware of TP before, but that started my love. (And I don’t think that is his best work, but it snared me.)
