Now that Substack is letting all publishers access the live video feature, I want to try it out. What better way than with an Ask Me Anything (AMA) Livestream!
On Friday, January 31, I will host a live Q&A Session after for anyone interested. I plan to dismiss my students, clean up my room, and take some of your questions!
We will begin at 3:30 PM (MST) and last about 30-40 minutes.
How can I submit a question?
Next week, I will send out an all-call for questions in my subscriber’s chat. If you don’t know what you want to ask yet, no worries! Maybe you want to follow up to a question someone else asks? You can ask me a question during the live broadcast itself.
You can also ask your questions directly in this post, by leaving a comment below.
What should I ask?
I’m open to any education-related questions! Feel free to ask me about public education, K-5 teaching and learning, pedagogy, classroom management, design thinking, culturally-responsive teaching, the life of being a male, elementary-school teacher, designing engaging learning experiences, equity and social justice in my classroom, learning experiments, or anything you’ve ever wanted to ask a teacher.
I will do my best to answer anything you throw at me!1
What happens if I can’t make it?
No worries! Once the livestream has finished, I plan to share it in Notes for anyone to watch at a later time. If this is a success, who know? I may start a monthly livestream!

I’m looking forward to chatting soon!

This will be my first time live on camera, so go easy on me with the hardball questions!
