There’s something hopeful here too. In a system that often frames care as an add-on or a soft extra, this shows how deeply it can be woven into the everyday life of a classroom — shared, distributed, reciprocal. When students learn that caring is simply “how we do things here,” academic learning doesn’t compete with humanity; it rests on it.

This isn’t sentimental. It’s foundational.
