Fourteen years on and I can still vividly remember a tour of the Herr’s Potato Chip factory in Pennsylvania, and how sensors and puffs of air were used to clear away “bad” chips from the processing line. My sons 12 and 9 at the time were captivated by it all.

That sounds so cool! I think my kids would love to see a tour of a potato chip factory. They were fascinated by the tea box sensors and suction cups that could grab boxes and stack them neatly onto pallets.

Hiking trails are everywhere. We just enjoyed 4 days of hiking on dog- friendly trails near Divide, CO. Free and easily accessible.

We love going to the river/creek! My kiddo is still small enough to fit in the hatch of my kayak while wearing a life jacket. Also, just sitting/splashing around in the water and cooling down.
